Today, instead of heading to a café for our intercambio (language exchange), we went to San Vicente to an outlet mall. That, combined with the fact that everything is still on rebajas (sale), meant that everything was super cheap.
This meant that a lot of the words that I learned today are different ways to say "cool."
- que fuerte--literally, it means "how strong" but I think it means "what a deal!" She used it whenever she wanted to comment on how cheap something was.
- chuli--cool; it's a different form of "chulo"
- me flipa...--I love...
